Illustration Friday 'Slither'


I finally finished my illustration for this weeks Illustration Friday theme, 'Slither'. I must admit, I struggled a little. The word doesn't conjure up very pleasant images to me but I got there in the end with my snails slithering along to their holiday destination hence the sunglasses and hat.     You made slither cute and pleasant! Wow. One observation is that it might have been good to have some shadow behind the snails, because at first I didn't know what I was looking at - there is a lot of pattern.... just a silly opinion... I love your work... It reminds me of Eric Carle:-)
